 Handicrafts by Beth and Don is a his-and-hers operation located in Utica, NY, in the heart of New York State.
Don Stookey does chair caning (as well as rush, ash-splint and Shaker tape), and designs and handcrafts classic wood game boards, such as Chess (including 3-Player Chess), Checkers, Backgammon and Chinese Checkers, as well as lesser known traditional, cultural and reconstructed games such as Latrunculi, Tafl, Nine Man Morris, Fanorona, and Surakarta. He also custom designs Wood Signs for homes, camps and businesses.
Beth Stookey crafts items in stained glass, including Suncatchers and Three-Dimensional Butterflies.
Everything is hand done, so special orders are never a problem.

If you check our Show Schedule page you'll note that some of the shows are currently marked ''tentative''. These are shows we've done in the past, and expect to participate in again this year, but we haven't yet received applications and can't absolutely verify the dates yet.
